The Big Push
calling all volunteers!
The lease is being drawn up, and we are fast approaching handover to our tenants! In order to get over the line, we need a big push from our volunteers over the next two weekends!
16th/17th November & 23rd/24th November
Some of the jobs required include interior and exterior painting, rubbish/recycling removal and general tidying and cleaning.
inside jobs
Remove remaining thatch debris from roof space.
Remove unwanted items from the the barn and storage sheds including crockery and glasses, old pictures, and wood.
Storing paint materials for future use.
Prep and paint (stairwell, back lobby, doors, frames, skirting in Otter Ridge and landing, telephone box, some window frames).
outside jobs (Weather permitting)
Finish painting front elevation.
Clear thatch from gutters.
Replace broken double Roman tiles.
Clear flat roof of debris.
Some wood still needs brown staining.
