Our vision is to buy The King’s Arms for the benefit of the community and to secure its future as a thriving community pub.
We seek to bring the King’s Arms into community ownership, in order to secure this vital village asset, to be held in perpetuity for the enjoyment and wellbeing of locals and visitors alike, both now and for future generations to come.
The pub will be a free house that serves local and guest beers and sensibly priced, freshly cooked, good food prepared using locally sourced ingredients.
It will be the heart of the village as a place for social gathering, cultural activities, somewhere to meet people and exchange information, and it will promote a cohesive and friendly community in the area.
It is our intention that the pub will work closely with and in support of the other community facilities and clubs in the area, including in particular the Stockland Victory Hall.
