Thank you to our Thatchers
The re-thatching work on the Kings Arms Inn is complete thanks to the hard work carried out by Master Thatcher Jason Duggan (above right) ably assisted by Simon Towler (above left). This proved to be a very difficult job due to historical issues which had to be tackled by our thatchers who have been meticulous in putting right multiple problems.
The end result is a roof that is once again sound, with a superb finish that will serve us well for many years to come.
The Committee would like to thank Jason and Simon for their efforts and we look forward to enjoying a beer with them in the not to distant future.
