Update on Annual Members Meeting

Dear Members/Shareholders, as you may remember we contacted all of you just before Christmas to give you advance notice of the Stockland Community Pub Limited Annual Members Meeting (AMM). The AMM is an important date on the SCPL calendar, and it is a regulatory requirement that Community Benefit Societies hold these meetings annually. We hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.

The AMM is your meeting and will include the formal presentation of the annual report, accounts and management committee elections. Members will be requested to vote to approve the accounts, determine whether a formal audit of accounts is required and to elect members to the management committee. Note that in accordance with the society rules it is “one member – one vote” and we cannot currently accept proxy voting.

In addition to the formal agenda items, members will have an opportunity to ask any questions they have regarding the management of the society over the year, and plans going forward. The AMM is also a forum where members can suggest ideas for additional services/facilities which the society might be able to provide or facilitate on behalf of the community.

Venue: Stockland Victory Hall

Date: Wednesday 16th March 2022 @ 7.00PM for 7.30 Start (Pop-up Pub from 7.00PM)

All members/shareholders should now have received a package of information either by e-mail or by post. This package will contain the Annual Report, a signed copy of the accounts and notice of the AMM. If you have not received anything by the 21^st February please check your junk mail folders and if you still cannot find the documents, please contact SCPL either via the SCPL e-mail or write to the registered office.
